Novelist Plus and Novelist K-8 have information on over 250,000 fiction and nonfiction titles, plus content including lists of award-winning books, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, Recommended Reads, Series info and more. K-8 is has titles chosen specifically to support the school curriculum as well as the pleasure reading needs of students including tools like Lexile scores and popularity ratings. Novelist Select brings enhanced content to Mobile Public Library's online catalog. You'll see Suggested Readings, Series Info, Author Read-alikes, Book discussion guides and more every time you look at the detailed view when you search our catalog
- Special purchases of materials including eBooks, PBS video series, Compact discs, Audio Books, Health Books, and Large Print Books
- Special Programs such as the Library Employee Recognition Program, Reading for Fun, and Storytellers
- Events including the Annual Membership Meeting featuring a Southern Author, Student seminars and Writing contest and an annual Spring luncheon fundraiser.
